Mahasoa – Hope grows in Madagascar. Insights into projects that provide education, health, and a future for orphaned children and youth. Mahasoa is a non-profit organization that has been implementing social projects in Madagascar since 2015. In Ambanja, the Mahasoa association successfully operates a children's home for orphaned and partially orphaned children to provide them with a foundation for a better life. Additionally, a new training center is being built. All of this is done in close collaboration between the Swiss and local team on site. In the presentation, we provide insights into the local living reality, report on successes and challenges – and show what the Mahasoa association has already achieved from 2015 to today and what it plans for the future. Mahasoa means 'Do Good' – and that is exactly what it is about: sowing goodness that sustainably brings hope and future.
