Jonathan McMillan is a pseudonym. Behind it are a banker and an economist, Jürg Müller, Director of Avenir Suisse.
Disappointed by the way their colleagues in banking and academia were dealing with the 2008 financial crisis, they decided to embark on a writing journey together.
Due to the banker's position, ‘Capitalism and the Market Economy’ was published in English in March 2024 under the pseudonym Jonathan Mc Millan. The German translation will be published in mid-April 2024, and we have managed to get the banker to present the book and the theses it contains for our summer programme.
