What is a charity run?
• As runner, before the run you find as many donors as possible: friends, relatives, neighbors, companies and/or clubs
• The donors agree to a give a certain amount for each lap you complete (400m),or simply a lump sum (see form on the back side).
• You as runner decide how many laps to run on the day of the event.
• The money is then collected from the donors and used to finance service projects
Anyone can sign up: hobby as well as marathon runners, children and teenagers, Nordicwalkers or strollers. What counts is your participation and the financial support!

Goal
A CONTINUING SUCCESS STORY
Run4Change was founded in 2013 as an annual charity family event to raise money for causes helping children. Since then, the project has raised over CHF 200,000 for projects related to helping children. The event is held every year in April. Join us in our causes and engage as a runner, company, or sponsor for run4change!
Here is an overview of past events.
The Rotary Club Zurich International committed to support St Jude India ChildCare Centres (www.stjudechild.org) over a long period, and the run4change donations from 2013-2018 provided over CHF 150,000 for opening of Centres in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata, including complete furnishings and in one case with a water treatment system. St Jude India provides free of cost housing for these children and their parents, along with free nutritional support, transportation to the hospital, and counseling services – a “home away from home”. Due to the outstanding success of current centres, further centres are planned to follow. Since the organization began, over 20,000 children and their parents have received this much needed support!
In 2015 one third of the money raised was donated to the Rotary Foundation to support the eradication of Polio.
In 2019 we partnered with the FAED Haiti Foundation to raise money to buy land next to a school for disadvantaged children.
Starting in 2020 we have been supporting DREAM 2.0, an organization devoted to eliminating HIV mother-to-child transmission through providing free therapy and nutrition support to HIV+ mothers before and after the birth of a child. Their goal is to have children free from AIDS, no more orphans, and more mothers continuing to take care of their kids thanks to a reduction in maternal mortality.
The 2020 Run4Change event was held online as the "Workout Challenge", where during the COVID lockdown families joined a live-streaming event to keep the spirit of children helping children alive.

Every runner donation goes 100% directly to support the cause.
The project to support is selected through a rigourous assessment procees and calling the club members to vote.
